Easy Caprese Appetizer

You can find the ingredients for this appetizer year round and it's especially nice during warmer weather since you don't have to use the stove at all. It comes together in minutes and it's a tasty and colorful bite that your guests will love.
Caprese salad on a stick!
Caprese Skewers
  • 1 lb small fresh mozzarella balls 
  • 1 container of cherry tomatoes, washed 
  • 1 bunch fresh basil, washed 
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 
  • 1 tablespoon good balsamic vinegar 
  • Salt & pepper

To make:
  1. Alternate piercing a cherry tomato, a folded basil leaf, and a mozzarella ball on skewers and place completed skewers on a plate. 
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil & vinegar. Drizzle the dressing over the skewers, add salt & pepper to taste and serve.
